The US military's active bayonet, the blade is made of special fine steel, forged and pressed, thick and solid. The surface is gray titanium, not easy to scratch, dark gray.
The blade edge has been locally heat treated, can chop branches and sticks, cut ropes, can open cans with the tip of the knife, and there is a production number on the neck of the knife.
